Equipment Usage & Safety Guidelines

At MyHealthMart.in, your safety and the proper functioning of our medical equipment are our highest priorities. To ensure optimal performance and long equipment life, customers must follow the guidelines mentioned below. These instructions apply to all rented and purchased equipment.

1. General Equipment Usage Guidelines

  • Equipment must be used only for its intended medical purpose.
  • Usage should be under the guidance of a trained medical professional or as demonstrated by our staff.
  • Customers must ensure equipment is handled carefully, placed securely, and kept away from heat, water, or dust exposure.
  • Any negligence, improper operation, or mishandling may cause damage and will be the customer’s responsibility.

2. Installation & Operating Instructions

  • Our team installs and demonstrates the equipment at the customer’s location.
  • Customers must check and confirm that the equipment is received in good working condition.
  • Do not operate the device beyond the recommended duration or prescribed settings.

3. Safety Guidelines for Electrical Equipment

  • Ensure that the power source is stable, properly earthed, and free from loose connections.
  • Electrical burnouts, short circuits, or voltage-related issues are not covered under warranty.
  • Avoid using low-quality extension cords or unsafe power strips.

4. Guidelines for Battery-Operated Devices

  • Charge battery-powered wheelchairs or similar devices at least once every week.
  • Failure to recharge regularly may lead to permanent battery discharge, which is not covered under warranty.
  • Always use the original charger provided with the equipment.

5. Respiratory Equipment – Special Instructions

These guidelines apply to Oxygen Concentrators, BiPAP/CPAP machines, nebulizers, humidifiers, etc.

a. Cleaning & Hygiene

  • Clean filters, mask, hosepipe, and accessories regularly.
  • Replace or wash filters as recommended to maintain airflow quality.

b. Water Usage

  • Only RO or filtered water must be used in Oxygen Concentrators or PAP humidifiers.
  • Avoid water spillage on any circuit or electrical part—water damage is not covered under warranty.

c. Ventilation & Placement

  • Keep the machine in a well-ventilated room for optimal performance.
  • Maintain proper clearance from walls, curtains, or enclosed spaces.

d. Continuous Usage

  • Allow periodic rest to avoid overheating and ensure long life of the machine.

6. Maintenance & Care

  • Perform basic cleaning as instructed during installation.
  • Do not attempt to open, repair, or modify the machine on your own.
  • Use only genuine accessories or recommended consumables.

7. Service & Technical Support Guidelines

  • If equipment stops working due to a technical issue, the first service visit is free.
  • Additional visits, repeated complaints, or misuse-related faults may be chargeable.
  • Allow proper access to our technician for inspection and testing.

8. Prohibited Activities

  • Customers must strictly avoid the following:
  • Assigning, lending, pledging, or subleasing the equipment
  • Allowing any third party to operate or repair the equipment
  • Opening, modifying, tampering, or altering any part of the equipment
  • Using the device outdoors unless specifically designed for outdoor mobility use
  • Placing equipment in unsafe, wet, or dusty environments

9. Damage Responsibility

Customers are responsible for any:

  • Physical damage
  • Electrical burnouts
  • Water damage
  • Missing parts
  • Broken accessories
  • Mishandling or incorrect usage

Repair or replacement charges will be applied accordingly.

10. Warranty Conditions

  • Warranty is applicable only to manufacturing defects, not customer-induced issues.
  • Damage caused by power fluctuations, spills, improper handling, or lack of cleaning is not covered.
  • Warranty will be void if the equipment is modified or operated incorrectly.

11. Important Notices

  • All communication regarding servicing, complaints, or equipment issues must be submitted in writing to our registered contact.
  • In case of emergencies or urgent breakdowns, customers should contact our support team immediately.

12. Customer Responsibility Summary

By renting or purchasing equipment from MyHealthMart.in, the customer agrees to:

  • Use the equipment safely and responsibly
  • Follow all instructions provided during installation
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper power supply
  • Avoid any unauthorised repairs or modifications
  • Ensure timely renewal of rented equipment
